Kappa Beta Gamma International Sorority
I have been a member of the Beta Eta chapter of Kappa Beta Gamma since Spring 2022. During my time in the sorority, I served as Philanthropy Chair in Fall 2022 and Spring 2025 by helping the chapter fundraise for Special Olympics and Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital through hosting fundraisers and give back nights. As Sisterhood Chair in Spring 2025, I created events for the members of the chapter to grow in the bonds of sisterhood. As Vice President in 2023, I was the head of the standards board, created monthly Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) events for the chapter, and was a part of the national DEI board. As President in 2024, I managed operations within the chapter and managed communications between the chapter and the national board.
Tiger Miracle at LSU
I have been a member of Tiger Miracle (formerly Dance Marathon) at LSU since Fall 2021. Tiger Miracle fundraises year round for Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital through fundraisers on campus and individually. Over the past 3 years, I have fundraised over $3,400.
During the 2021-2022 school year, I was a member of the LEAD freshman team as the Secretary. The LEAD team learned about the organization's leadership team, learned how to run fundraisers, and assisted in outreach. I kept minutes of the meetings and contacted members as needed. During the 2022-2023 school year, I was the Assistant Director of Mini Marathons on the leadership team and did outreach to local high schools to promote fundraisers and to make their own fundraisers. In 2023-2025 as a participant, I lead my sorority's fundraising team and promoted Tiger Miracle events to the sorority.
